Nick Mobilia, a native to North East, Pa, is the third generation owner of Mobilia Fruit Farms. Growing up in the family business of farming, Nick has always been a part of the farm. It wasn't until 1970 when Nick became full-time where he began to grown Mobilia Fruit Farms into the 225 acres it is today. Of the 225 acres, 120 acres are 14 varieties of grapes, the rest consists of cherry, peach and apple trees, and a vegetable garden.
Nick has an excellent knowledge of growing quality fruits and vegetables. His track record of producing award wining wines and great marketing skills has built Arrowhead Wine Cellars from a farm market into the successful winery it is now.
When asked this question Nick just laughed. When you’re at work seven days a week, your “outside of work” time is slim to none. When he does get the time, family is number one. He enjoys visiting his son Adrian and wife Shannon and his precious granddaughter Reilly. Nikki Marie, and her husband Greg, and his youngest daughter Jennifer. He enjoys visiting other farms and wineries, listening to 60’s and 70’s music, dining out, walking through the vineyards and volunteer work including:
- Erie County Farm Bureau (40 years)
- North East School Board (14 years)
- North East Community Foundation (10years)
- Pennsylvania Wine Association (13 years)
- Several other advisory committees
He is also a fan and supporter of the Michael Knight Racing dirt track team.
